The Job

The Sales Operations Contract & Proposal Manager will oversee the RFP, Proposal and Contracting process with clients and our internal Sales Team. This newly created role will require the skillset to build out the proper RFP/Proposal and contracting processes, and best practices. You will be responsible for managing contracting, drafting and reviewing legal documents, facilitating redlines between client and our legal department, and creating the right process that makes us easy to do business with for our clients in partnership with our internal Client Team.

Additionally, you will lead a small team of RFP and Proposal Writers, helping build out best practices in RFP processes, simplifying our proposal process, and presenting MG as the vendor of choice. You will coach your team and your sales partners on effective proposal writing and project management, partner with key stakeholders to understand clients/products, and advise on related processes/systems. This role reports directly to the Director of Sales Operations, under the direction of the Chief Commercial Officer.

What you’ll be doing

Contract Review

  • Development and coordination of various types of complex agreements and other contracts/Legal documents (SOW, MSA) with the Client Team, Legal, Client Services, and client
  • Review contract deliverables, pricing structures, and client redlines to provide feedback and recommendations to stakeholders on our Client, Client Services, and Legal teams
  • Efficiently and accurately draft and produce legal documents and may negotiate routine or assigned agreements
  • Serve as initial point of contact for Client Team around all contracting related needs
  • Create processes around contracting that are efficient, simple, and easy for all members of MG to review and access

 

RFP/Proposal Management

  • Lead the creation of a system and process that can manage RFP requests and position Mind Gym as a the vendor of choice
  • Oversee RFP/Proposal writers that are working with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and verify requested information
  • Manage project timelines with your team to ensure Client Team is prepared to deliver on request
  • Oversee and maintain our Q&A database to ensure responses are consistent, accurate, and appropriate
  • Oversee itemized and summarized pricing for proposed solutions

 

About you

  • Prior experience in leading teams in RFP’s, proposals, and contracts with an ability to create process and infrastructure to improve efficiencies
  • Experience with Salesforce, Accent, Microsoft Office (or similar CRM and RFP/Proposal software platforms)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and technical aptitude
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
