Senior Digital Content Strategist

You’ll be working as part of a cross-functional team of behavioral scientists and product designers to design, write and edit content that delivers real behavioral change in a fun, accessible way.
 
As the digital specialist on the team, you’ll be championing editorial excellence and digital best-practice, and upskilling the company on how to produce industry-leading digital content. You’ll also be leading on content design elements for the product, so strong experience collaborating with UX/Product designers is essential.
 
While our focus is on creating new content, Mind Gym also has a legacy of complex, valuable IP. You’ll need to be able to evaluate existing materials, understand the psychological models that underpin them, and decide what to transform into new content.
 
We’re building both the team and product from scratch, so you’ll have the chance to shape the direction of our culture and product. Our content-first design approach means that your ideas will carry real weight, and you won’t be constrained by existing systems or technology.
 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Working with behavioral scientists to design, write and edit content
  • Embedding design thinking into the content production process
  • Modelling how content should behave within the product, including content flows and information architecture
  • Content design/UX writing for the product
  • Defining and documenting standards and guidelines
  • Defining user research requirements and participating in testing sessions
  • Feeding into frameworks for evaluating content
  • Championing accessibility and best practice within the business
  • Upskilling team members on digital editorial excellence
  • Shaping content production processes
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the business to understand business and client priorities

 

About you:

 
Essential

  • Experience as a content strategist or content designer
  • Strong experience working as part of an agile, cross-functional product team
  • Exceptional knowledge of digital editorial best practice
  • Proven experience upskilling team members in how to create best-in-class content
  • Excellent knowledge of UX, user research and accessibility
  • Experience working with complex, multi-faceted content that’s dynamically served
  • Ability to think critically about user journeys and content flows, and to connect the dots between them
  • Proven ability working in a fast-paced product-based environment
  • An interest in psychology/behavioral change and human performance

 
Desirable

  • Localisation experience
  • Experience developing psychometric diagnostic tools or e-Learning materials
