It’s crunch time for illbeing, inaugural MindGym Connects Breakfast reveals

HR bosses chew the fat on wellbeing’s future

19 December 2022

The Ivy Collection was the perfect backdrop to an energetic roundtable of distinguished HR and business leaders from some of the world's leading companies – at our first-ever MindGym Connects Breakfast.

Tea, warm pastries, and a delicious breakfast could not have complemented the festive atmosphere any better – as our clients shared innovative ideas and dissected the poignant trends in corporate culture that are sure to shape 2023 and beyond.

But more than anything else, this breakfast served as a reminder for us all – gathering people with the same relentless passion for building better, healthier cultures unleashes a cosying creative energy to warm our thoughts even on the coldest of days.

Attended by a hand-selected group, the exclusive event led by our Head of Solutions Strategy EMEA, Roy Diggory, and Client Team Practice Leads Monick Evans and Elizabeth Gorski exposed the widely-accepted fads that are thwarting employee wellbeing programmes from actually working. In most cases, making things worse.

Rather than simply accepting what ‘wellness tricks and perks’ have been done before and assuming that they are working, Roy brought to attention the urgent need for employers to understand their people’s individual strengths and how those can help shape an effective wellbeing programme.

Roy also emphasised the importance of taking a science-based approach to wellbeing and presented MindGym’s behavioural science-backed solution Wellworking™ - which empowers organisations to embed wellbeing into the normal flow of work while providing lasting results.

By nurturing employee wellbeing the right way, organisations will unlock their true potential and make real progress towards building healthier work communities.

Stirring mind-blowing food for thought

With everyone's insights and experience converging in one place, the MindGym Connects Breakfast was an opportunity to learn and grow together as a community - showing just how important it is to create a space that embraces face-to-face collaboration.

At MindGym, we value the power of conversation, particularly when it comes to tackling important topics such as workplace wellbeing.

Our first MindGym Connects Breakfast was a perfect example of this philosophy in action. It marked just the beginning of our series of events designed to bring together clients from a variety of industries and backgrounds – people who are passionate about driving change within their organisations for positive outcomes for their employees as well as their customers.

Our goal is to foster meaningful connections among our clients while inspiring them with ideas on how they can create these changes within their organisations.

We are excited by what lies ahead as we continue our journey towards making real differences through innovation.

If you're a leader passionate about ending the #burnout cycle, please join one of our two upcoming virtual learning sessions on wellbeing on 24 January 2023.

These sessions will expose the route to enhancing wellbeing at your organisation amid the burgeoning burnout cycle that’s ripping through workplaces worldwide.

Secure your place now on the EMEA session at 2PM GMT or the US session at 2PM ET.
